I’ve started getting the following message across in the site and in the admin panel yesterday. I’ve got it while working with EventEspresso, though I don’t think it’s something wrong with the plugin. Anybody knows how to make it go away?

Hi, that warning appears to be from a plugin that your host has enabled (mu-plugins means must-use plugin).
You could check with them to see if there are any issues with the plugin.
Adding this macro to your wp-config.php file should also remove the warning:

It should replace any existing debugging macros that may be in place.
