Volume discounts in EE4

Hi,

I’ve just updated to EE4 and am struggling to set something up. In EE3, we offered a ‘family’ of courses. Individually £210 each, but discounted if a customer bought more than 3, using the Volume Discounts add on.

I’ve seen this thread https://eventespresso.com/topic/volume-discounts-in-ee4-2/ but still can’t quite work it out.

Suggestions very welcome!

Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy,

You could setup another ticket with a Mini qty value of 3 – http://take.ms/cqiKh

Then users can only select 3 or more of those tickets – http://take.ms/tx2tO

Would that work?

Hi Tony,

Unfortunately not. The offer of a discount applies across all the courses advertised. Buy any combination of 4 courses and you get a discounted price. This worked with the EE3 Volume Discount addon and is really fundamental to my client.

He has organisations booking people on a series of courses. Discounted tickets for single events don’t work as there may be people booking on four separate courses.

A ‘spend so much and get some kind of discount’ option would be ideal. Coupons are no use as I can’t see any evidence of a minimum spend (if a coupon could only be applied after spending £840 (for example), that would work) .

Cheers
Andy

Hey Andy,

Sorry we don’t have a volume discount feature at this time. I have added your request to our public roadmap on Trello: https://trello.com/c/JjTd8mbE

Please feel free to comment and vote on that feature.
