I added this code this shortcode
[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id=6 event_id=”6″ direct_to_cart=1 moving_to_cart=”Redirecting to cart…”]
and that works fine. But when I go to view the cart, the page just reloads with “View Cart” staying active.

Any ideas what’s going on?

Hi Stephen,
The issue may be caused by having all the Event Espresso templates copied over to /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates. If any of these are out of date it can really break things.
The other thing to check is make sure that the /event-registration page has the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode on it and that it’s set to be the main registration page in Event Espresso>General Settings.

I did upload the new template files, but will do it again and see what happens.
My Event Registration page does have [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] on it.

By default there should not be any template files in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates, so it may be best to remove them, or rename that directory to something like templates-nope just in case.
