Various Issues With EE4 Seminarios Imagen

Good afternoon Lorenzo,

A few concerns that emerged during our last test of the EE system for Seminarios Imagen:

1) Regarding Notifications: While we are assigning a custom notification such as Sii 1.1, the system is delivering an email with Event Payment Details, tha does not even respond to the default one.

Selected ii 1.1, for example, reads:

But we receive
Event Payment Details, that is not selected, and seems to be but aint one of the default messages either

These are the custom notifications set for all of the current 33 events:

2) Regarding AddOn Promotions:
We ran test with one (and the only at the moment) promocode nominated PROMO25
This promocode was set to run from January 1st to Decembre 31st , 2016 (see snap for settings) No matter how we try to use it, single event, group discount, … the sistem shows this error:

The problem with this error is that once the user refreshes the page and retries, the sistem displays this other error:

Some sort of dead end that challenges usability.
Sometimes requiring to Delete All Cart Items, refresh twice and restarting the whole process… Not real for a common user.

3) Regarding Unability to Complete Transactions and Duplicates: This error of unable to complete transaction, mentioned in the previous point, becomes a dead end for the user as it turns into a duplicated transaction once the user refreshes. Whenever this message appears.

4) Could there be a chance to assign/redirect events http://seminariosimagen.com/registros/events/
to registros http://seminariosimagen.com/registros/
?

The interface of the later has been optimized to match Seminario Imagen’s site template.

The custom messages appear to be enabled according to your screenshots. Could you follow up with us with a temporary WP dashboard login?

On your last question, the /events/ slug is the default slug for Event Espresso 4. It can be changed through Event Espresso –> Events –> Templates –> Event Slug.

registros should not appear in the URL unless the site was setup in a subfolder with that name.

Okay, I saw the conditions of the promotion from the screenshot and it appears to be active for all events through out the remainder of the year.

When you are testing it, are you also trying to use other promotions before this one? The promotion is set to exclusive which means it can be the only promotion that is used at one time.

On the dead end issue, I also saw those screenshots. Could you confirm these are the steps so we can run some testing on our end?

1) Select an event and start a registration

2) Make an error on the card information so its declined (e.g. simulate a typo by a registrant)

3) Correct the information and try again and you’ll see a duplicate transaction message.

OK will check the “exclusive” parameter for the promocode an retry.

About the dead end, no. No mistake was made filling the fields, as far as we know. The error message appears and the page must be refreshes = to fill all again. Then, duplicate.

Notifications: still show unaccording to selection in dashboard. Any news in this regard? It seems to be an EE error. Please, help.

When the Slug field is adjusted in Event Espresso –> Events –> Templates –> Event Slug.

The page changes to the EE default format that does not suit my clients standards and that was customized in order to appear neater.

Ideally, we want to be able to assign a slug that leads to the customized page and not your default template.
Please, help.

2) AddOn Promotions

The parameters that you mentioned were revised and tested but it does not seem to be the problem. Please, help.

3) Unability to Complete Transactions and Duplicate Transaction Error

Now that Jesús provided you with Login Details( on Wed, 27 Jan 2016) , were you able to assest this and the other issues?

Hello,

registros may be the name of the folder that WordPress is installed in. If WordPress is installed in a folder rather than the root, then you’ll see that appearing in the URLs.

You won’t be able to remove that from the URL for the events listing page. However, you could create a new page and then add the following shortcode to it:

[ESPRESSO_EVENTS]

I tested the promotion and it applied a 25% discount. It is an exclusive discount which means that if you have used another discount, then you won’t be able to apply a new one.

Try going to this page: http://seminariosimagen.com/registros/registration-cancelled/

Then try another registration and apply the discount.
