Using the Calendar add on on a widgetized page

I wanted to use the sidebar checkout widget on a widgetized page on my theme. Using the Calendar shortcode I can’t get it to display on the widgetized page.

I installed SHORTCODES ULTIMATE plugin, add that to my widgetized page, and added the [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR] shortcode. Nothing gets displayed on the page. When I contact my theme’s support, they said to also try adding this css just in case there is an issue:
.textwidget {margin: 0 auto; max-width: 1000px;}

Here is the page:

Is there any limitation to the calendar shortcode being used from within a widget?

How can I get the calender to show up in a widget?

Thanks!

Hello, do any other shortcodes (e.g. shortcodes that are not from Event Espresso) work on that page?

The reason I ask is that shortcodes do not typically run in widget areas:
