I have a job I’m bidding on and they want the ability to sell registrations for their club members but also allow people to sign up for and pay for facility rentals (weddings, etc.). I apologize if this is covered elsewhere but could I use your plugin for this? Basically the ability to look at a calendar and sign up for and pay for a facility rental and having that time/date be blocked off for any other rentals.

Thanks!

Hi Jason,

Thank you for your interest in Event Espresso.

I think that Event Espresso could work well for you with a little customization of the text. We can show you how to do this. It’s quite simple. Also, you can set up an event to only allow one registrant, so when someone registers, it will show that slot/event full and no more registrations/tickets will be available.

Will this work for you?
We look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks Jonathan for your quick response. Would this mean I would have to create blocks of time for the event space?

Reading through their RFP it appears that having the ability for their (garden club) members to be able to sign up an pay for classes and events is priority #1. The other part of their business is renting their space for weddings and functions. I would imagine that they ultimately want the ability to schedule an event manually instead of their clients just clicking on a date and paying for it immediately (in case of conflicts, etc). So, I guess another way to do it would be for them to manually add an event and then invoice their clients? That is something your plugin can do, correct? This way they can use the same payment processing system through Event Espresso.

Yes. That’s correct.

Yes, our plugin will allow you to setup events as you are wanting.

Awesome, thanks Jonathan…hopefully I get the contract and when I do I’ll be by to purchase.

Cheers!
