Using EE for events on subdomain

Hi Guys,
Have been using EE for “classroom” based courses and all going well. EE is installed on the top level domain.
Now selling online courses with the content on the subdomain presented with LearnDash (LD). Using InfusionSoft, zapier and memberium to handle the billing, payments and access etc. A bit fiddly but works ok.
Recently discovered LD have some add-ons that enable sale of tickets to “virtual” & “online” courses via Event Espresso – including billing, payment handling and access to the content.
Ideally EE and the add-ons need to be on the same level as LD ie on subdomain.
I am enquiring what is the easiest or best way to make all this work;
a) will I need to move EE to the subdomain?
b) could I use something like Zapier (or memberium) to “join the dots” between the top level and sub-domain?

Hope I’ve explained that clearly enough for you – if not please let me know what I need to clarify for you.

Hi John,

Event Espresso doesn’t have an integration with Zapier so whilst you may be able to duct tape it all together somehow I don’t think it will be easily done. Personally I would use EE and LD on the same site, it is how the Event Espresso add-on LearnDash created expects the install to be used. You could run both installs of EE if you wanted to keep them separate.

Something to note is you can not move ‘just’ the Event Espresso from one site to another unless you dump the entire database from one site and import it into another, meaning its then a copy of the original site.
