The auto invoice creation has a massive flaw in that it fails to carry across any tax/surcharge/vat amounts despite them being correctly setup in the system.
The invoices it creates are at best incorrect and at worst illegal (not actually invoices) as they do not display any breakdown.
The links and suggested fixes you suggest from other forums are incomplete and incorrect and this is a fundamental feature of the EE3 system and as such needs to be addressed and fully fixed by yourselves ASAP.
This is an urgent issue and one that needs to be addressed immediately,

Can you provide the current template.php you are using please, I’d like to investigate this further?
Are you also using the WP Members Add-on?

Hi Blue level,
This turned out to be a limitation with Event Espresso & how the WP Members Add-on stores the ticket pricing.
The function you are using doesn’t take wp-members into account (and as it turns out is rather difficult to do so correctly)
So I’ve modified the function to pull the Members price however there is a limitation to this in that the wp-Members price must have a different name to the standard pricing.

There is also the other option of including the surcharge within the full price and using a function such as this https://gist.github.com/joshfeck/a0482a918ef34bee24ab
To breakdown an calculate the surcharge from the total cost. Although depending on the surcharge/tax amount that will need to be modified to suit.
