Hey there,

We are using Event Espresso Plugin for event management. we used to export event registration with “Registration CSV Report” option, which allow us have to store registered events in a excelsheet. It doesn’t seems to work now. When we hit “Registration CSV Report” it display non formatted text on the browser window. We are not able to import the content in a sheet as before. Please help us to fix the issue asap.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, is this happening in all web browsers or only in Safari?

Hi Ryan,

Have you installed any new plugins, changed themes or updated anything specific between the time that this did work and now when it does not?

Hey,

I have updated event espresso plugin few days back. Everything was working fine before. I haven’t checked the csv export after plugin update. Not sure if plugin update causes the issue. Can you please help me to fix this issue?

Thanks.

Hi,

Have you tried testing with only Event Espresso running?

We need to try and narrow down the cause for this as currently there could be any number of reasons.

Which version of Event Espresso did you update from? and which version are you currently running?

If you switch to one of the default themes (such as TwentyFourteen) and retry does the same happen? (you can do this without altering the theme in use on the site using a plugin such as Theme Test Drive)

Hey,

We had EE version 4.2.9 and we have updated the version to Version 4.4.5.p.

Thanks

Can you enable WP_Debug on the site and retry exporting the CSV, are there any errors shown? In particular ‘Headers already sent’ errors.

Hi,

I have tried by switching the theme to TwentyFourteen but still not working. Also note that, Registration is also not working with the Url for which we have not upgraded EE plugin.

I have enabled Wp_debug and tried to export the csv. I am not getting any errors. It just displays the registration without formatting.

Please help me to fix the issue.Thanks.

It looks like your browser is set as the default application to open CSV files.

If you double click on a CSV file that is already saved on your computer, what applications does it open with?
