We only use Event Espresso on our main site, however we have a multi-site, how do I get Event Espresso to upgrade? Do I have to do it manually? I have installed the new version however I have not activated it. Do I need to deactivate the current version and then active the new version? We currently have people registering for an event so I don’t want to have any issues. Thank you

Hi, officially we do not support multisite installs as they have some challenges over a single site installation of WordPress.

If Event Espresso is activated on the primary site, then there will be a support license key field that will allow activation.

If if it on a subsite (not the primary site), then you’ll need to manually update the software:

It is on the main site, and I get this message: You have the correct Support License Key for Event Espresso but your account only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys or purchase a support license right now.

Hi, I’ve assigned your account a new support license:

However, once you move to multisite you’ll need to update manually.
