Hi there, I’m sorry for the trouble you’re having with this. We made some changes to reduce the restrictions for the license keys, and an unexpected problem crept up in doing so. We are working on a fix right now, and will be resetting everyone’s license keys once the fix is ready. After that, you’ll need to save your key in Event Espresso>General settings and auto update should then work. In the meantime, please do not update attendee info while the site is on 3.1.28.1. I would also recommend making a backup of your database if you have not already done so. You can also manually update to the next version of Event Espresso by following the instructions here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/updating-event-espresso/
