Unusuaul activity/problems with recent transactions

Hi,

We noticed two unusual transactions yesterday that hopefully are just one-off problems. But nevertheless I want to point this out in case it becomes an on-going problem.

One of the transactions was back-dated to February of 2016. The other one was back-dated to April 2017. We searched the transaction ID through Authorize.net and it seems both of these transactions were for different classes/events. In other words they don’t match the registration activity/confirmation from yesterday.

The other problem is both of these registrations did not go through via Authorize.net yesterday but yet there are showing as approved with EE4. Please advise.

Thank you,
Brandon

Hi. It actually appears the system may be TRANSFERRING students out of one event and into another event without paying. Very strange.

Hi Brandon,

Does your site use any type of caching?

Hi Josh,

I’m pretty sure there’s none going on. It’s possible the server does it’s own, some do that. But since we’re on a virtual private server, unlikely.

Fyi, we haven’t experienced these type of problems with our registration system since we switched to a VPS back in November of 2016.

Hi Brandon,

We’ll need more specific information with what you’re seeing. Can you post a link to the event page where these registrations started from?

Hi Josh,

Sure. The one in February 2016 started here for Noah Rowe:

The one in April 2017 started here for Clare Runciman:

Those both show 404 errors when I try to view them.

Can you complete the form on this page so we can take a look at the admin?
