Undefined gateway response received. EE_SPCO_Reg_S

Setting up test gateway. We have a sandbox with firstdata.

An error has occurred:
Undefined gateway response received.
EE_SPCO_Reg_Step_Payment_Options – _process_payment_status – 2516

We are using the FirstData PayEezy plugin and get this on a test charge using:
Visa: 4111111111111111
Date: 01/23
CVV: 123
Any suggestions? FirstData says the transaction works on their side.

Hi ICE,

When you submit a payment to FirstData, EE will log the request/response within the payment logs in Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Logs.

Looking at the code for the payment method you’ll see the above ‘Undefined gateway response received.’ error if either no response was reviewed at all, or a ‘Bad Request’ error.

If you check the log entries for the transaction you tried above, look for the ‘Payeezy sale request Response’ log, do you see any details in that log entry?
