Unable to submit new events

I am unable to submit new events to my WordPress website’s Event Espresso calendar. (WordPress Version: 3.8.10, Event Espresso Version: 3.1.36.2.P) I don’t know what has changed since I successfully submitted some new events a week ago (8/6/15).
When I complete the new event form and try to submit, I get a wordpress database error message; when I try to edit the form, I find that multiple start/end times have been added, and also multiple repetitions of the pricing fields.

Hi Nancy,

How are you today?

What is the error message?

Do you know what has changed in the last week? Did you update any plugins or themes, or did your host change any server configurations?

Nothing has changed in the last week that I know of. Here is an example of the error message:

There was an error in your submission. The event was not saved! Please try again.

WordPress database error: []
INSERT INTO “wp_events_prices” (“event_id”, “event_cost”, “surcharge”, “surcharge_type”, “price_type”, “member_price”, “member_price_type”) VALUES (0, “0”, “0.00”, “flat_rate”, “General Admission”, “0”, “Members Admission”)

I also got a similar error message, only it pertained to the event ID and start and end time dbase fields.

Hi,

WordPress was updated a while back and caused this issue. We applied a fix to EE, so the best thing you can do is to update your version of EE to the latest (EE 3.1.37.5).
