I have been trying for many months to login into the app for my business account. I tried myself because I didn’t want to do this process of having to post something on form but here we go. I have changed my password. I have tried login ID (which works fine on the website login) and email address but always get the circular error message of login, email, password do not work. Please help me figure this out so I can use my app for an upcoming event. Thank you
The app communicates with your site using the REST API and when we get the above issue, it is usually down to 2 things.
1. Your host is not allowing the AUTHORIZATION header to pass through on the request.
2. Something is hooking into REST and changing how authentication is done on those requests.
I’d like to try logging into the app on my device so I can capture the requests and see if anything stands out on those before we start looking into the above.
If that’s ok you can send temp login details I can use on the app via this form:
Can you send me the login credentials for that account? (Same form)
I’m not having any issues with the other account.
Yeah I’m aware, thats what I’m testing.
I’ve had no issues with the other account when testing iOS and Android.
Testing the other account now.
That account is not registered on your site, I can’t log into it via the app or web.
To clarify, when you use the apps the credentials you use are to log into your site and NOT your eventespresso.com credentials. So are you using the credentials for an account on the site itself?
The app communicates directly to your on site, other than it being our app we have nothing to do with the communication between them.
