This morning our clients were unable to make purchases on our website.
In the logs I see the error:
“Unable to communicate with Mollie (28): Connection timed out after 10001 milliseconds.”
I Checked with Mollie and they said there were no errors in their API. Customers get the notice “It appears the Off Site payment Method was not configured properly”. We didn’t change anything in the payment method/API.
If its happening for all payments, I’d recommend you open a ticket with your host and hame them confirm they are not blocking the connection to Mollie on their end, the request is being sent to https://api.mollie.nl/*
Then confirm with Mollie once again that they are not blocking the request from your server for some reason. It’s not an issue with EE itself but the communication between your server and Mollie.
