Hi,
My Mollie payment does not work, giving the message ‘It appears the offsite payment was not configured properly’.
I’ve already installed tls compatibility and that is fine.

Please assist.

Regards,
Maaike van der Veen

Hi there,

Have you set up your web profile within Mollie itself?

If you go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Log

EE will create a log when it connections to Mollie and should save the response, can you see any errors there? (Click the log ID to the left, NOT the TXN ID on the right)

Hi,

There are no logfiles there.

Hi,

Have you set up the website profile in your Mollie account by following this guide:

Hi Josh,

My client says yes… She doublechecked.

How can I make sure logfiles are created?

Maaike

They aren’t actually log files, the logs are written to the database. If the site cannot connect to iDeal’s servers though, no logs will be written. So it’s important to make sure all of the website profile fields are input correctly and the correct Mollie API key is added to your site.

Hi,

So, the api key was wrong, it is correct now. Mollie actually worked a few days but now:

log_description Exception thrown while creating a Mollie payment
message Unable to communicate with Mollie (28): Resolving timed out after 10520 milliseconds.

Any advice on this?

thnx

Is that happening with every payment now?

The above error means your site can’t connect to Mollie.com and the connection is timing out after 10 seconds.

What type of hosting are you using?

It was Mollie’s error…. only they did not share the information on their site or on twitter or something.

Everythings is fine now, thanks.
