I have been unable to add a waitlist to my recurring events. I have created the waitlist and when I go to add it and save the event, the screen goes blank and the waitlist is not added. Can someone please help me? |

Hi Jeff, Can you check the server’s error log to see if a PHP error was thrown when you tried to update the event? |

It can vary from host to host. If you contact your hosting company they can tell you where to find the error log. You’ll want to find the errors that were posted at the same moment you try to update your events, or send a copy of the error log to support@eventespresso.com and we can take a look. |

Hi Jeff, You can fix that one by going into Event Espresso>Template settings and clicking the rename templates directory button. I’m afraid that the error that was logged isn’t any indication of what went wrong when you updated an event. It may help to try temporarily deactivating all plugins (except for Event Espresso), then try updating an event. This will help narrow down what’s causing the issue. |

This is so frustrating….I did what you said re: Event Espresso>Template settings and clicking the rename templates directory button AND I disabled all other plugins, but it still doesn’t work. And other ideas? We really need the waitlist feature to function… |

Hi Jeff, How many events are currently in the recurring series you are trying to update? Are you adding the waitlist to all the events in the series currently or just the single event? If all can you try with a single event and check if that works please. |

The only way I was able to resolve this was to delete all my events and start all over. Now it seems to work, but it was very time consuming to add all the events and attendees back in. |
