Turn Off Maintenance Mode

I installed Event Espresso 4 over the EE3-lite version on our WordPress site.

I hit a php memory limit error on the 4.2 to 4.3 data migration to pull the event information up to current data format.

It seemed everything was fine, and I set up the Events, tickets and messages as I wanted, but the next day I clicked into the Maintenance tab under Event Espresso in the dashboard, and it immediately locked me into Maintenance Mode, and the only option to get out is to delete all data.

Could you please provide a way to remove maintenance mode, or backup the data somehow? I need this fairly quickly.

Hi Don,

Have you tried deactivating Event Espresso, then reactivating?

Thanks, but yes I tried deactivating, as well as deleting and re-uploading the plugin without deleting the data.

Hi Don,

Do you have a backup of the database from before you ran the migration?

I can delete the data and recover that way – I was just hoping to not have to reconfigure my events that I have entered since the migration.

Is it not possible to remove the flag that is telling EE its in Maintenance mode? (I’m happy with a hack in the mySQL database…)

Hi,

The best option would be to restore the WordPress site and database from a backup.

Then raise the memory that is available to PHP:
