Trouble with initial installation

Tried to install EE4 on a local server using the DeskTop Server product. During the install got the following error message: Could not copy file. event-espresso-core-reg/caffeinated/core/libraries/messages/message_type/cancelled_registration/EE_Messages_Email_Cancelled_Registration_Validator.class.php

Looked at old forum entries and saw a similar issue that seemed to be related to permissions in the plugin directory. Have already installed a number of plugins and the permissions looked OK.

Hi there,

If you remove the plugin and reinstall does it just give the same error each time?

I’m assuming this is a local install as its Dektop Server, you could just manually copy the event-espresso-core-reg directory into the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
