Hi EE, I’ve been reading the forum, followed the instructions and have been testing all weekend to get translations working on my site, but its just not having it. I’ve updated EE to the lastest version and have my files (event-espresso-4-en_UK.mo + event-espresso-4-en_UK.po ) uploaded to /webroot/ROOT/wp-content/uploads/espresso/languages Thanks

Hi, Have you tried with the filenames below? event-espresso-4-en_GB.mo In most international settings the UK is still using GB as it’s country code. |

Hi Dean, Yeah, that seems to have done the trick Thanks. |

Hi Dean, I’ve come up against another issue with the translation – I running multisite, the translation seems to working on the root site ‘/’ but on my other site ‘/usa’ its not working. Also, the text in the tranlations file for the registration page “The event you have selected requires logging in before you can register. You can register for an account here if you don’t have a login.” Is there anyway to include a forgotten password link and there isn’t one on the standard setup? Thanks |
Hi Andreas, I’ll try to follow up with your two questions:
Is Event Espresso network activated? Along with that, when you go to the /usa site’s settings, which language is set there? Is it English (United States) or is it English (UK)?
You can add a forgotten password link to your log in form by adding the code in this gist to a custom functions file: |
