Transferring EE4 from oue developer's site to ours

We are currently having a new website built that will include EE4. The website files are currently on the developer’s platform. He is concerned that if EE4 is downloaded and integrated while the files are on his sit/platform, that when it is time to move the website to our domain that there will be a problem with EE4.

Can someone provide some advice or an opinion please?

Hi Peter,

Does the developer use a tool like WP Migrate DB when he moves the site from one domain/server to another? If so, the data will be migrated correctly.
