Hi,

I had you guys create a custom ticket last year and now I would like to transfer it to my new install on a new domain. How do I go about doing this?

Thanks!

Hi Bryan,

Have you used an SFTP or FTP client before?

If so, you can login to your WordPress site with a client such as FileZilla or Cyberduck. Then browse to your WordPress plugins folder (wp-content/plugins) and download any plugins that you need to your local computer.

Then you should log out of your old site and login to your new site using your preferred SFTP or FTP client. Then browse to wp-content/plugins and upload your plugins.

Once it has completed, you can go to your WordPress admin and then Plugins to activate your plugins.

Thanks, Lorenzo. I transferred the plugin, however it didn’t bring over the custom template I had you guys create. Is there a way to transfer that?

Hi Bryan,

You also need to copy over the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates directory.

Thanks Jonathan! It was in a different folder labeled Tickets. I really appreciate your help!

Ah, I assumed you were referring to the normal templates. Sorry about that.

Glad you got it worked out. 🙂
