I bought an EE license several years ago for use on a client site. I’m in the process of turning the site over to the client so that I won’t have anything to do with the site in the future. Should the current license be transferred to the client or should I simply tell them that they need to create an EE account and purchase a license when it’s time to renew? Thanks for any help.

Either way would work, but I’d recommend that they start with their own account. This way they’ll get to pick their own username if that’s important to them. Otherwise you can contact the sales team and they can assist you with transferring the account over to them. You can contact the sales team via the form on this page:
