Transaction timestamp – where are you?

It is now 9:18 AM on April 24 in Boston.

I went to see if I had any new registrations. My most recent new transaction is timestamped 1:07 pm April 24.

Where are you? Are you in Europe? How do I convert this to local time? Or is there a setting I should check?

Thank you,
Joyce

Hi Joyce, couldn’t you check the registration that is for that transaction to see the registrants/attendees location?

Otherwise, you can use something like everytimezone.com to see different times in different timezones.

It is not dependent upon the location of the registrant, all of whom are in Massachusetts. It is consistent for all six registrations this morning. See image file at this URL. It would be nice if I could append a file to this report.

Hi, is your site set to use a region or city near you in the general settings area of WordPress?

It might be set to UTC.

UTC would explain it. I went through all the General Settings and do not find a way to update the time zone. We are set to United States, USD, $, and such, but no questions about time zone. Update time is set to yes. Since this is visible only to me, and I can translate UTC, I’m not going to worry about it.

Just realized you said General Settings OF WORDPRESS. I checked, and you’re right. I’m not going to monkey with it until after my event. Thanks for identifying the source of the issue.
