Hi,

Please check that the page is published and publicly viewable. Also check that the page is set in the Event Espresso General Settings > Page Settings section.

The page when visited should read:

“An error occurred. No ID or an invalid ID was supplied.”

While it may seem weird that an error will show, it is the correct behaviour.

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this?

If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level and FTP details are appreciated.

Hi,

Without seeing the site it will be hard to diagnose. You could try deactivating and reactivating the plugin, and potentially reinstalling it.

Hi,

Your main registration page “Congressi” is using the EVENT_LIUST shortcode, it MUST use the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode, otherwise the plugin will not work.

Also the URL di Notifica page should be the Transactions page, currently your are using Chi siamo, please swap this back.

To clarify, in the General Settings > Pagina Impostazioni (Page Settings) section you should have four core pages, each of these pages should have 1 shortcode in enabling the plugin to function.

Hi,

I updated the configuration. Test now the transaction page. You’ll see that it doesn’t work….

Hi,

Congressi is still using the EVENT LIST shortcode, it needs to use the ESPRESSO_EVENTS shortcode or at least one page, any page, needs to use that shortcode and be allocated in the General Settings. The page that uses it does not have to be on your navigation menu, so you can carry on using Congressi as is if you want, but the page with ESPRESSO_EVENTS has to be public and not draft/password protected.

Page updated. How do I add the pagination on the registration page if I use [ESPRESSO_EVENTS]? Is possible to use params in that shortcode?

Dean

Hi,

ESPRESSO_EVENTS doesn’t auto paginate, and parameters are restricted.

As mentioned you can have 2 pages, one with ESPRESSO_EVENTS which is just not on your navigation, which is needed for the plugin, and then one with EVENT_LIST which is shown to your visitors, which allows you to use the different parameters.

Hi Daniele,

We do have the login data, and I checked the site. The plugin seems to be functioning correctly now that ESPRESSO_EVENTS has been added.

The transaction page is still showing the shortcode, but that’s because no payment gateway has been allocated yet (even we still learn things every day!), it wont stop the plugin from functioning.

I followed your instructions, but it still doesn’t work… I created a main page for the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] and one with the [EVENT_LIST events_per_page=3]… I have six events and there are three pages within three on the first, two in the second and one in the third…

Hi Daniele,

Can you post a link to the page that has [EVENT_LIST events_per_page=3] so we can investigate?

Daniele Pavinato

Perfect, thanks!

Have you resolved this now?

Daniele Pavinato

January 16, 2014 at 1:31 am

Unfortunately not…

I followed your instructions:
1) create a main page within [ESPRESSO_EVENT];
2) create a page within [EVENT_LIST event_per_page=”3″];

It doesn’t works…

Hi Daniele,

It looks as if this is working correctly now http://d.pr/i/Su9L

Is that correct?

Daniele Pavinato

Yes. What did you do to make it works right?

Hi,

I have not changed anything.

I just checked in on the thread and noticed it working. I suspect this was caused by events that were Open but expired (from your previous thread regarding previous events) some of the event lists will pull in events that are ‘OPEN’ but hide them if event date has passed.
