Hi,

Authorize.net has informed us they will be disabling earlier versions of TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 by February 2018. They will be using TLS version 1.2.

They have asked us to check with you guys and our web hosting company to confirm you can support TLS 1.2 for our API connections. Can you please confirm this?

Thank you,
Brandon

Hi Brandon,

Its more a case of checking with your host that the server is up to date and supports TLS1.2, EE doesn’t force a specific protocol version it uses the latest version setup on your server (the message to contact various providers other than you host is a ‘catch-all’ for them to cover all bases).

As long as your host confirms that your server is up to date and supports TLS 1.2 it should work fine.

Hi Brandon,

You can also install and test with this plugin:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/tls-1-2-compatibility-test/

to verify if your web server is compatible with TLS 1.2.
