I just purchased the Event Espresso plugin today and I have the ticketing add on and the json API plugin installed on my site, when I try to login to the Iphone app (Version 1.64 HD) the app will not recognize my username and password. I get a bad user name and password combination. I am using the most current version of wordpress and all of the event espresso plugins as I just downloaded them today.

Hi Chris, the credentials for the login are case sensitive so could you ensure that isn’t what is happening here?
Also, are you logging in with a WP admin user?
User roles like editors will not be able to login to the mobile app.

Yes I checked the user name and password many times. I was using my admin login. That being said I reset my password in wordpress to a shorter password without any special characters and it worked. Maybe the length or the special characters were messing it up. Thanks for the quick response.

Hi Chris, I also use a password manager. Could you tell us about the password that was it use prior?
Note that we are not asking for the password but could you provide the approximate length along with if special characters were in use?

I didn’t use a password manager but the password was similar to this

Thanks Chris. I’m having some trouble duplicating this issue. These are the password combinations that I tried:
alphanumeric (12 characters)
alphanumeric + special characters (15 characters)
long alphanumeric + special characters (24 characters)
We’ll keep an eye on this in our support forums to see if we receive any other reports.
