I am looking at creating a website similar to Dash Tickets NZ or Ticketmaster, where promotors sign up to sell tickets to their event.

I have researched Event Espresso thouroughly, and think this would be the most viable option.

Does anyone know of any similar websites that use Event Espresso for this sole purpose, as a multi event ticket selling website.

Thanks

Hey Bones,

I don’t know of any specific websites like that, but you could check our showcase: https://eventespresso.com/showcase/

We’re looking to accomplish the same exact thing. Here’s a bit of a more in depth user case scenario:

– Users sign up as “Venue/Promoter” profile
– User is able to add venue details & events, set ticket pricing, etc
– Independent reporting for each user account (i.e. XYZ Venue is able to view reporting metrics for sales of their events only).
– Events are displayed on user’s “Venue/Promoter Profile” page
– Administrator able to pull from all user events (based on custom taxonomy, “Venue, City, Genre, etc”) for front page “Event Showcase”

This is essentially the same type of model as Ticketmaster, Eventbrite, Brownpapertickets, etc.

Is this possible with Event Espresso?

Hi there,

Out of the box, Event Espresso doesn’t have those features. However, a PHP developer can build extensions to make that possible.
