Ticket selections could not be processed due to a server timing error

When I click the purchase button one just one of my events I receive the following error:

We’re sorry, but your ticket selections could not be processed due to a server timing error. Please hit the back button on your browser and try again.

All other events work fine except for this one: http://aim.institute/development-courses/plastic-flow-and-design-essentials-for-mold-makers-and-designers/

I read this fix on another post: You go to Event Espresso > Registration Form > Reg Form Settings to change the Bot Trap settings. But I don’t have that option in my Settings, I only have the ability to turn reCAPTCHA on or off.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Elizabeth,

I can suggest that you update to the current version of Event Espresso 4. After you update, the Bot Trap might just work, and if not, you’ll have the settings to disable it.

Thank you Josh but I can not upgrade it, it has a lot of customization and will break items if I do. Any other ideas? Thanks

The customizations should be moved out of the plugin so they will not break. Customizations should never, ever, be made directly to the plugin files.
