Ticket are live… and not working

Two issues have popped up since we have gone live.

1) All of the testing we have been doing, we can’t the “test” registration wiped from our system, even when we followed the directions here:

https://eventespresso.com/topic/delete-locked-tickets/

https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/68d5029ebd0311559a2a

The tickets aren’t locked, just cancelled.

This might be attributing to the bigger issue that parents are calling in saying the Event Cart wouldn’t show what they were registering for our actual # of players. Now, we tested it and cannot recreate this issue. On the back end, we’ve been live for 24 hours and I can’t see a single attempted registration. Is something broken? Please advise.

Hello,

Could you provide a link to any event on your site so we can take a look?

Also, were you testing while logged-in to your site in the same web browser? I ask as there could be some caching creating an issue.

Hey Lorenzo,

I just spoke to the parent who couldn’t get through and we walked through it together. She is using Chrome. We tested on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, all while not logged into the back end.

Here is what the parent tried:
http://shoot360.com/events/summer-camps-vancouver/

Add 1 “From the Wing, Early Bird. Select add to Event Cart
Hit Return to Events List
Scroll Down to Summer Leagues Vancouver- select that title
Add the 2nd set of dates. Select add to Event Cart
She then gets the pop-up that she has two events in her cart. When she goes to view the cart, it says the cart is empty.

We checked her cookies (on the correct setting) and tried 3 times.

Further info: we’ve only been testing on Macs, I just heard from my other web guy and this was his experience on PC: Hey Tawny,

I just tried to check on a PC and I got the same issue that the parent got. It appears that it’s not catching the cookie set on pc’s.

Do you have a workaround for this?

Hello,

The server for the site is nginx which has built-in caching features.

Who is your web host?
