Just migrated and updated from 3.38.2 to current EE4 – getting this warning now. The requested EED_Venues_Archive module class does not exist. Any clues? Thanks

Hi Tim,

The error indicates that when EE4 was installed, not all of the files made it on to your server. Can you try removing the EE4 plugin files and re-installing with a fresh copy?

Thanks Josh
Can this be done via FTP? Simply removing and uploading? Will all the data be ok?
Thanks Tim

Hi Tim,

That data is stored in the mySQL database, The data is not stored in wp-content/plugins. If you go the FTP route, please be sure to remove the ee plugin folder before you upload, if you try to overwrite it, you may end up with some files that shouldn’t be there.

Just found the file was in the right folder but it was empty. I have copied and pasted code from downloaded version into the file. Message has gone now – hope this works. T

You can ensure it that it will work by doing a fresh install. There may be more empty files.
