The password on the event not working

I am struggling with my password protected ticket sales. Everything looks fine on the back-end, but the password isn’t working for people. Out of frustration, I made it public. But it’s still asking for the password!

Hi there,

The password protection feature is a core WordPress feature, EE uses it, but its not from EE itself.

If the event is still showing as password protected even after you’ve set the event to be public then it sounds like it has been cached.

Can you post a link to the event so I can take a look?

I looked on your site and there was no password on your ticket. So this caching issue.

Check your site for WP cache plugin and purge everything, If you’re using cloudflare, you can also clear the cache there. you can also check your hosting for possible cache.
