everything fine for years. this morning we are getting this error

The following errors have occurred:
There were errors creating the Event Espresso database tables and Event Espresso has been deactivated. To view the errors, please enable WP_DEBUG in your wp-config.php file.
A database error has occurred. Turn on WP_DEBUG for more information.

Hi,

We received your request for priority support, but I’m afraid you didn’t send any information we can use to access the site. You did mention there was already an “eventespresso” user, but please understand we don’t store information for user accounts. Can you resend the support token form and complete all the fields?

This has been running since 2011 without a hiccup. Until yesterday, now it is vomiting all over my client.

There were errors creating the Event Espresso database tables and Event Espresso has been deactivated. To view the errors, please enable WP_DEBUG in your wp-config.php file.

Hi,

I’ve merged your 3 topics into one. Can you resend the WordPress admin password? I’m afraid the password you sent is incorrect. The FTP information you sent is correct, so no need to resend those.

Also, please contact your host to see if they can restore the database to the last available backup. The site is missing many of its database tables.

We have restored the latest backup and are running again.
I notice this appears to be a recurring issue. Are you aware of the cause?

I’m not sure what you mean. How is this a recurring issue? I’m not aware of a cause other than someone went in and deleted parts of your site’s database.
