I have an event at http://www.wyomingequality.org/events/rendezvous-2014-1/

Tickets go on sale June 1 and I need to test the configuration prior to tickets going on sale. is there a test mode I can use to allow me to do testing of the purchase process prior to the date they go on sale? (note I have seen the test mode for payment gateways so it does not bill a card but I think this is different)

Note: I’m using EEv4 registered vers

I’m trying to set up various discount groups for an event. I’m using EEv4

Event: http://www.wyomingequality.org/events/rendezvous-2014-1/

I need to have a discount for:
– early bird $10 discount (I did this by using the price modifier and will manually change prices after the early bird cutoff)
– member of organization $10 discount (they are doing this on honor system rather than checking against a database list… the customer just checks the box to get the discount)
– group discount (groups of 5 get $10 discount)

given someone can get early bird AND member discount AND group discount, how can I get all discounts applied to a single ticket?

I’m using EEv4

Hello,

You can update the status of the event to draft which will hide the event from the front end of the site to visitors but make it available to you.

Then adjust one of the tickets to be available today. You can then complete a registration.

From there, remove the registration through the registrations screen and delete it from the trash. Then adjust the ticket date back to the original date and publish the event.

For the discounts, there isn’t currently a discount system for EE4. One idea is to create a new ticket with the discounts combined. In the advanced options (the gear), set the minimum and maximum quantity to 5. Then schedule the ticket to be available for a certain period and then close.

Then have a regular ticket open right afterwards.
