When creating the terms and agreement page should it be set to “private”?

Hi Shannon,

Making a page private will make it available to only you and other users with a WordPress login.

Where did you see that it should be set to private?

Thanks

Lorenzo

Hi

I didn’t see how to create that page. I want to make a page where they have to agree to policies before registering. I have watch the tutorial link you sent me a few days ago but the 1st step is to create a page to list the policies. Then once the page is created add the URL so that I can link it to the registration process.

Hi,

That is a regular WordPress page. It can be created through your WordPress dashboard.

Once that has been done, in step 2, you add a link to that page in the question field:

Ok so I assume then it should be a private page since it’s only something I want people to see if they are registering?

No, if its private then they won’t see it at all.

The tutorial is just for providing a link to the page so they can see it.

If you linked to an image, then they would see that as well.

Basically, you are creating the page with your terms and then providing that link so they can view it as necessary.
