Hi,

I have purchased Event Espresso4 (Version 4.4.4.p) last month, am currently developing the website but am facing a few bottlenecks:
1. I am facing the following problem:
An automatic update for Event Espresso is available but your Support License Key is invalid. Either you have entered the wrong key on the Event Espresso General Settings page (EE3+ users) or Your Organization Settings page (EE4+ users) OR you no longer have access to the updates for this plugin. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys or purchase a support license right now.

2. We cannot edit or add fields in EE4. I am not sure if we can send in attachments or provide details of the license key.

3. We installed Event Espresso Calendar but am getting the following message ‘You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.’

We can share a login or screenshots, but would appreciate any assistance that you can provide. I am using EE4 for the first time.

Many thanks

Hi Richard,

Your purchase in January was not associated with your account so I fixed that. As such:

1) You now have a premium support license key on your account: https://eventespresso.com/users/rgstieg

2) Which version of Event Espresso 4 are you using? The premium version (which you can get from your account) gives you a Registration Form section that you can add/edit most of the questions.

3) It sounds like the permissions issue could because of a conflict with another plugin or your theme.

Can you change your theme to a default 2014, or 2015 theme and let us know if you still have problems. And/or disable all your other plugins and activate them one by one to try and identify the conflict. If changing the theme and/or deactivating the other plugins doesn’t help with the permissions issue, let us know.

Hi Garth,

Many thanks for your update. I have now entered in the correct license key and can see that in the plugin the red key has changed to ‘green’.
These are the versions that I am using:
Event Espresso : Version 4.6.8.p
Event Espresso – Calendar : Version 2.2.4.p

I am using Enfold Theme which generally works quite well. I am still having the same problem with the EE Calendar: – You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

At the moment the website is under development and I only have a few plugins installed:
Contact Form 7
Event Espresso 4.6.8.p
Event Espresso – Calendar 2.2.4.p
Really Simple Captcha
WP-Spanshield
WP Google Maps

WordPress Version 4.1
Enfold Theme Version 2.9.2
I deactivated each of the above to test it and just kept EE plugins and I am still facing the same problem with the calendar.

Could you please assist as how I can get this to work?
Thanks,
Sandeep

Hi Sandeep,

The 2.2.4.p version of the calendar is compatible with EE3 only. You’ll need version EE4 Events Calendar Add-on version 3.2.1.p.
