Hey Josh/Lorenzo,

I have the [espresso_events] shortcode on: http://speeddistrict.com/events/ and it works fine. The new theme and platform I have here, doesn’t work: http://66.55.93.121/~speeddistrict/events/

So I found this, https://eventespresso.com/topic/espresso_events-shortcode-not-working-3/

Still not fixing the issue.

When putting it back to my old theme, it works fine.

When I go to my new theme, it doenst work.

I also copied over PHP files and nothing.

Hi Josh,

We received your email FAO Josh in support advising emails to him were not working. I replied to this this morning.

I’ve run some tests and emails are coming through to our support email just fine.

We were doing some server work yesterday so it’s possible that they were rejected for a short period of time while the server was updating.

I am assuming the above information is related to the conversation with Lorenzo on April 30th – 2 June?

Hi Josh,

This error:

Message rejected by Google Groups.

Means google themselves are blocking the email due to a problem with either your account or the content of the email, take a look here:

https://support.google.com/a/answer/1071514?hl=en
https://support.google.com/a/answer/168383?hl=en
https://support.google.com/mail/answer/69585?hl=en

When putting it back to my old theme, it works fine.
When I go to my new theme, it doenst work.

Is this a custom theme you have created? Or a purchased theme?

It looks like the theme is filtering or doing something something strange the_content.

I also copied over PHP files and nothing.

Which PHP files did you copy over and to where?

What is the php filename?
Where was it located?
Where is it located now?

i loaded it up on my test server, when ever my current theme is loaded, the short codes work, once i switch themes, it doesn’t work.

It sounds like the new theme is doing something unexpected with the sites content, which is preventing the shortcodes from working.

Which version of Event Espresso are you using?

where the javascript vaiable “indexArray” is defined?

I can’t find that within EE, only “glyphIndexArray”.

On which page do you see the error for that variable?
