asap (as in 2 days…) i need to get (a) WordPress plugin for memberships / subscription based website (b) event ticketing plugin (c) email provider.
Right now I’ve got 4-5 options and want to hear opinions on the fastest and best solutions.
What 2-3 WP plugins for subscription-based membership datbase do you recommend (that integrages with EE)?
What other email providers do you recommend (that integrate with EE)? I see MailChimp featured, how about Constant Contact?

Hi Brent,
We currently do not have a subscription-based membership database plugin that integrates with Event Espresso. However, Event Espresso has an optional user integration add-on which ties into the WordPress users table. So depending on what features you need, other membership subscription plugins should work to manage subscriptions for user accounts. While Event Espresso doesn’t integrate with these, it shouldn’t get in the way.
If you need a specific feature of Event Espresso to integrate with a specific membership subscription feature that would need to be custom developed.
With the email list services, we currently have an add-on that supports Mailchimp, but not one for Constant contact. Basically what it does is it lets you configure your event signups to allow for email list subscription opt-ins to automatically get sent when someone registrations for an event.
