Hello,

We would like to use Stripe on EE4. I realize it is not yet available, but was considering coding it up myself. Is there anything keeping me from doing this? By this what I mean is, will I be able to hook into the necessary parts in order to make this happen? I will have to inject javascript, create a token on payment submission to send along and not send actual credit card data, etc. Before I get going on coding it, I was wanting to know if further development was still required on the core of EE4 to make this happen, or is it ready to be expanded upon?

Hi Scott,

I can recommend using the Mijireh Stripe option for now. We have a Stripe gateway that is compatible with EE 4.6 we plan to ship when 4.6 is ready. You can request github access to review what’s coming in 4.6 by signing up here:

As an aside, anything gateway related you develop now based EE4.4 will not be compatible with 4.6 because the gateway module has been rewritten.
