Thank you very much for taking the time to review this query. I wonder if there might be a way to allow Alipay payments via the Stripe Add-on as this is now a feature supported by Stripe through Checkout. If not I would like to submit a request that this be included in future versions of the add-on. If this is possible through custom development I would be grateful for any further information/documentation. Best regards, Jun

Hello,
We use Stripe Checkout to power the Stripe payment gateway for Event Espresso 4 so I checked into this here:
https://stripe.com/docs/alipay
It appears that there are few requirements:
1) Stripe users in the United States can accept Alipay as its done through USD (automatically converted by Stripe)
2) An update to the Stripe gateway to introduce an option for data-alipay=”true”
3) An update to the Stripe payment gateway to introduce an option for customizing the button label so that customers are aware that Alipay is an option. That is through the data-label parameter.
I’ll go ahead and open a feature request for the Stripe payment gateway.
