Hello,

Unfortunately, Event Espresso is not compatible with WPML or qTranslate at this time.

I looked at the page and it appears that non-breaking spaces are being shown where a space may appear.

Are you trying to setup multiple events in different languages?

Hello,

Yes it was the idea, but doesn’t seem to be an option.

Anyway even if we deactivated the plugin we can’t find a way to get this problem fixed.

Could you please advise how to fix it?

Hello,

Thanks for the additional feedback. Does the issue continue when only Event Espresso is running?

For example, if you temporarily deactivate all plugins and reactivate Event Espresso 4, then does the issue go away?

If so, then another plugin may be contributing to the display issue that you are seeing. Try reactivating a few plugins at a time and then checking your events page until you pinpoint the source of the conflict.

Your site is currently throwing a fatal error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function icl_get_languages() in /wp-content/themes/thirteenchild/content/header/nav/lang_select.php on line 3

So we can’t view the content.

It sounds like a plugin is filtering the content and replacing spaces with   do you have any custom plugins filtering the content?

The   will still display because nothing has changed yet 🙂

If you temporarily switch to a default theme such as twentyfourteen and retest, is it the same?

So it looks like your theme it doing something unexpected with the content.

Do you have custom functions to filter the_content? Look within your theme’s functions.php file and search for ‘the_content’, any functions hooked in there?
