Hello,

If you are on a single event page, then those body classes would be used (e.g. single-espresso_events):

http://cl.ly/0N3c0Y1p220V

If you are viewing a blog post, then Event Espresso related body classes should not appear:

http://cl.ly/2p283P062f2k

Is this appearing on the actual page content? If so, could you please share a link so we can see?

Here is the link to the page http://www.glenellendesigns.com/thetheaterschool.com/events/acting-camp-for-kids/

Can you help me understand how to access the templates so I can make a child theme to customize? Thank you – your help is greatly appreciated!

Hi there,

Are you able to access the template files using FTP? If so, you can edit the single.php file. It looks like that should be a PHP comment, but it’s getting output to the page.

If you can copy the contents of the template and post to a pastebin.net bin or a github.com gist, then post a link to the code here, we can review and let you know how to fix the template.

Thank you for looking into this. I hope this is the way for you to access my paste – http://pastebin.com/czdMKBwH

I also wonder if the problem may be due to a plugin I installed – Show Current Template? Thanks again!

Hi there,

I don’t think the show current template plugin would have caused the problem, but you can fix this by making a few edits to the first 7 lines of the template so it matches this:

Thank you very much! I am just learning WP and PHP and I could see right away the mistake in my formatting when you showed me. Your solution worked perfectly – Thanks again!
