I just removed, saved, replaced and saved again my license key and I still cannot update EE and still have this message at the top of the page: “You have the correct Site License Key for Event Espresso but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now”. In addition, when I try and update I still get this message: “An error occurred while updating Event Espresso: Your Elegant Themes username or API Key is incorrect. Please update your details in the Settings > General tab. Valid credentials are required to update your theme.”

I have other issues that I must resolve. The payment transactions are mostly not completing at PayPal, most users are being bounced back with a note that the transaction could not be completed, and to please try another method of payment. We have no other method of payment. A few have been successful, mostly only after quite a few tries. What do I need to do? The event is in March, we need to be selling tickets not frustrating users. My clients are understandably upset and I’m also very frustrated. Please, please help me! I know you have a lot of people to work with, but if there is some way that someone could call me to talk I would really appreciate it. Here is the important information that you may need and let me know if you need anything else:
WordPress Version:
3.8.1
PHP Version:
5.3.24
MySQL Version:
5.0.96
Event Espresso Version:
3.1.36.1.P
WordPress Address (URL):

Thank you,
Debbie

Hi Debbie,

Re:

Can you send a copy of the Elegant theme that you’re using to support@eventespresso.com?

Re: PayPal

I have other issues that I must resolve. The payment transactions are mostly not completing at PayPal, most users are being bounced back with a note that the transaction could not be completed, and to please try another method of payment. We have no other method of payment. A few have been successful, mostly only after quite a few tries. What do I need to do?

If it’s a case where some transactions are going through and others not, it could be a network delay from PayPal. One way to work around this is to set the default payment status to pending in Event Espresso>General Settings. Normally it’s set to incomplete. If you’re finding that the payments eventually get updated to complete, but people are complaining that it says incomplete, setting the default to Pending will help.
