Square payment gateway work-around

Hi,

My client wants to use Sqaure on their site as a payment gateway. I searched and found this older post on the topic: https://eventespresso.com/topic/adding-square-payment-processing/

Clicking the link to the plugin returns a broken link. My question is: Is the solution presented in the above thread still viable?

Hi Jordan,

The solution in the other thread amounts to adding a link from the EE3 checkout page to square.com. The broken link was for a blank plugin to hold a custom function (like the function in the gist). You can follow this guide if you need help with creating a blank plugin:

You might try the Flexible payments method add-on for EE4, which will allow you to display instructions on how to pay using Square (and this will involve no coding on your part).
