Hi,

I’ve purchased the plugin (under the username osmiumptyltd) and had been installing it. As you said it is possible to have multiple attendees per ticket, can you please explain me how you’d do it? I didn’t find any option on the event adding page.

Hi, multiple tickets per transaction are supported. However, multiple attendees per ticket (a single ticket) are not.

Each registration for a ticket or pricing option will require one attendee.

If the questions for additional attendees is not enabled via the event editor, then the primary attendees (first attendee registering) will be used for all registrations. That is, if an attendee bought 5 tickets, then they would enter their registration information once and it would be linked to those 5 tickets.

Hi,

Thank you for your response. But, one of your support staff clearly mentioned that a ticket can be scanned X times. And now you are saying that multiple attendees per ticket is not supported. I’ve clearly stated here: https://eventespresso.com/topic/multiple-tickets-per-transaction/#post-133701 what I needed, and your staff responded positively for the requirement I raised.

Again, Following is my requirement:

I have 2 different ticket items.
1. Individual Ticket – This is just a single ticket purchase.
2. Group ticket (10 tickets / attendees) – each attendee should bear a ticket at the entrance. During the ticket registration, only the details of the primary registrant would be collected and linked with the other 9 attendees. Please note these tickets are in a pack of 10 with 1 price. ($1000 for the group ticket)

and please guide me on how to

Hi, it sounds like you got this working but I’d like to clarify further and this information is for Event Espresso 3 + ticketing + multiple event registration.

Here are some examples:

Single attendee/registrant that purchases 5 of the same ticket

This single ticket will allow scanning 5 times.

Single attendee that purchases 2 of ticket A and 3 of ticket B

Ticket A will allow scanning two times and ticket B will allow scanning 3 times.

Group registration (different attendees/registrants) that has 10 tickets

Each attendee (ten people) will receive a separate ticket that can be scanned once.
