I have a similar issue as in Europe we don’t use the State option as we live in different countries.
Is there a possibility to disable the State/Province from the question group of personal informations?

Are you also using Authorize.net?
I know we are working on a ticket to make all the fields more flexible, so the admin could set them as required / optional / disabled.
Until that is done, however, I’m afraid the only option for you is to basically make a customized version of the gateway, with the code slightly modified to your needs.

Don’t using Authorize.net but state is asked in the basic form.

In the payment form for the credit card? or in the regular registration form? Can you provide a link to an event, so we can take a look?

We are not online yet.
It’s just the normal registration form before I proceed to the payment options.
It’s part of the Address informations, not required but I don’t need that at all. Can I just put it on “display:none;” to not show it?

Hi Heinz,
You could remove the state question from the address info group.
Go to Event Espresso -> Registration Form -> Question Groups -> Address Information.
Then uncheck the checkboxes for State and Country – http://take.ms/psC7Q
Save and test a registration.
