Same problem w/ EE4, but I don’t even have the field to enter the license key on my general settings page.

Is it completely missing?

Are any other areas of Event Espresso appearing strange/broken?

If so, could you try a reinstall of the latest software through WordPress plugins?

I downloaded v. 4.2.7 then uploaded it to my site, but the “site license key” field is still not present. What table/field in the database feeds this value?

Here is a partial screen shot of the General Settings page:

No other links appear broken and functionality is normal (I assume).

Hi, it is in the wp_options table and should look like this:

There isn’t a toggle that shows or hides it. It should just appear.

Could you temporarily switch to a default theme and see if it appears?

Found a condition at the top of your_organization_settings.template.php

if ( is_main_site() ) { ?>
<h4 class=”ee-admin-settings-hdr” style=”width:300px;”>
<?php _e(‘Your Event Espresso License Key’, ‘event_espresso’); ?>
</h4>

Sorry, I didn’t know this was supposed to be on the main site of a multi-site install. I removed the condition and it now shows up, but I can’t save the key in the field. I also tried network activating and doing this from the main site (without the hack in place), but again the key won’t save. Do I need the “reset” that the original thread speaks of?
