Hello,
I’ve purchased the top license for event espresso and so far am impressed. I need a little more sorting capability. What are your recommendations for needing to be able to sort by location of event and by category within the table view addon?

The customer will have many events at one time, they want users to be able to select a location or have the opportunity to choose a category.

Hi there,
The Events view table includes a category filter at the top of the template that allows users to select the category they want to view.
You can also sort by venue by clicking on the ‘venue’ table header.

Is that not what you are looking for?

I would like a drop down for location and a drop down for venue. The calendar add-on has the sort by venue option, but the table view does not.
I want to be able to have a drop down where a user can select the location they want and only events at that location would be shown.

Hello,
There isn’t an option to introduce new filter options. You could add all available locations as a venue option and then assign those to events.
The other option is to use the event category option for the location instead of the venue dropdown.
