Slow registration form button

Hi
I’ve been testing the registration form and it worked fine when I clicked the button and moved to the payment methods page. A bit slow – perhaps 5 seconds of circling?

Well, I just got the first registration for my conference and the attendee said they had to register twice because the form seemed to freeze after they clicked the registration button. They said it sat there for hours till they decided to shut it down and start again.

Any idea what would cause this? I hope others won’t have this issue.

Hi Kylee,

This can happen if your site is running low on memory. Can you try increasing the amount of memory that’s available for WordPress?

Now that I think about it, the website has been slow to load and some of the images have been slow despite being small images.

I’ve increased the limit from 128M to 256M in the php.ini file. To my eyes, it does look faster. We’ll see how the next few registrations go.

Thanks so much.
